After the excitement of our trip to France, my husband decided to take the boys and me to Qualicum Beach, on Vancouver Island, for a few relaxing days of playing in the sand, beachcombing, bird-watching and snorkeling in the (cold!) Pacific ocean...
The sand and all the drift wood on the beach inspired me and I made these pieces that I find very elegant and natural with their subtle tones :
